Chasefu District Commissioner Jimmy Phiri has called for more investment in Chasefu District in order to unlock the potential that lies in the area.
In a speech read on his behalf by Chasefu District Administrative Officer Willis Sinkamba during the official opening of the first-ever executive lodge in the district, Mr. Phiri said Chasefu District is home to numerous investment opportunities that can generate income if properly harnessed.
Allan Kwangu Resort is the first of it’s kind to exist in Chasefu District, with stakeholders perceiving the development as an opportunity to unlock tourism in the district and create local employment.
And the Proprietor of the lodge, Julius Zgambo has thanked Chasefu Town Council and other governments for the support rendered during the pre and post construction stages of the project as he pledged to invest more in Chasefu District where he spent most of his life during primary and secondary school days under the care of his grandparents.
Meanwhile, Chief Phikamalaza has urged the community of Chasefu District to continue rendering support to potential investors in order for the district to thrive at a significant pace.
