The community of Kapekesa in Membe ward has for a very long time been covering long distances to access Healthcare services as the only facilities within their reach are Phikamalaza Rural Health Center and Lundazi District Hospital.
This sad reality brought untold nightmares to the people especially expectant mothers who could not walk all that long with transport challenges being the order of the day.
This is now a thing of the past as CDF has built a Health Post and a Staff House right within their vicinity whose services will automatically extend to nearby areas.
The two facilities are among the 2023 CDF projects expected to be handed over soon.
